The Estes Park Resort, Estes Park

Staying at Dunraven had its ups and downs. The sink in the room instead of the bathroom was a bit unusual, and the below-ground view was not the best. On the bright side, the location is wonderful, right near the lake and with easy access to the park. The service was top-notch, especially Kevin at the front counter, but the dining could be more diverse. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms, although more like a basement at first, turned out to be beautiful with a fireplace and two private balconies offering stunning views of the lake and mountains. The service was incredibly friendly and warm, but I had to seek out the manager initially. The location was perfect, right on the lake with convenient access to everything, but I did have to ask about hidden fees. The dining experience was a bit of a letdown, being both expensive and not very delicious. However, I must say that the hotel offered great value for the price paid.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were not serviced/cleaned until the evening of our second day, but they were very comfortable and just the right size with a patio. The location was great, not too far from town but away from the congestion, with a nice view. The dining was a hit or miss with the most expensive breakfast on our trip being the least delicious, but the overall service and facilities were satisfactory.
